A beautiful corner in the Perth Hills dedicated to helping you feel happy & confident to leave your children in the care of our amazing educators. This has made us a much loved institution for over 40 years.

Our Environment

Our beautiful Perth Hills location provides the perfect environment for your child to thrive in a natural environment. Our centre is a not for profit and is focused on quality care and learning for your child. We are a small centre with a maximum capacity of 39 children across our daycare and pre-kindy rooms so that your child feels nurtured and develops a beautiful bond with our educators.

We know choosing the right place to look after you child can be hard which is why we think of our families as part of the “Possums” family. This is what has made us a much loved institution of the Perth Hills.

Learning through play

Developing your little one’s thirst for learning is something we love to do. Our highly qualified teachers and educators develop programs for your children in both the Possums room and Pre Kindy class.

You will begin to notice the difference in your children as they come home to share their new knowledge with you.

We are often told by teachers at schools that they can identify the children who come through Little Possums.



From Our Director

“I have been in the Early Education industry for over 24 years, I studied in England and ran a pre-school before migrating to the beautiful Perth hills in 2005 and have worked at Little Possums ever since.

Our reputation in the community is outstanding, this is evident when new families come to the centre and comment on how warm and inviting the atmosphere is, and how it has such a special feeling. We constantly receive positive feedback from parents and members of the community about the centre and staff. It is an asset that our wonderful educators are long standing and completely devoted to their jobs.

Our School

Daycare + Pre-Kindy Program

Little Possums Early Years is much loved in the Mundaring and Perth Hills community.

We have 2 programs to support parents for their childcare and early education needs.

Our Possums Childcare room caters for babies from 4 months old up to children 6 years old in a nurturing environment.

Our Pre-Kindy program has been developed by our highly qualified early learning educators to prepare your children for school in a gentle way, by learning though play.

Our centre is a run by a not for profit committee – Little Possums Daycare Inc. This committee is made up of committed Staff, parents and members of the community.
